I remember watching pastor Assembly of God pastor in Little Rock present this passage on TV when I was at Harding. I remember him joking, "If God gave you the permission to white-out just ONE passage in the Bible, don't you think this would be it?" Sorta funny ;)
When I get contemplative, it kinda makes me wonder what it is about perseverance that makes it so essential for members of God's Kingdom. Like, we need to get toughened up a little here for something big on the other side.
